Alyssa earned her Master’s of Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch after finishing her Bachelor’s in Community Health from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has a variety of experience working with pediatrics and adult populations in outpatient, inpatient and home health settings. Alyssa has a passion for working with neurological patients such as stroke, MS and Parkinson’s Disease. She feels that skilled therapy along with good carryover at home with home programs leads to successful outcomes and optimal performance with daily tasks. She believes that working as a team is vital to successfully achieve the best results, help patients live life to their fullest, and regain the skills necessary to be independent at home. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys working out, running, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places. She also enjoys cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
