Lucas is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to his patients utilizing state-of-the-art training and evidence-based techniques. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa, Lucas completed the nationally-ranked University of Iowa Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and an additional year of Orthopedic Clinical Residency, furthering his expertise in providing a full scope of physical therapy services with emphasis on orthopedics and vestibular care. He is certified in the Gaston Technique, FMS Level 1 and 2 certified, and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor having taught students in the DPT program at the University of Indianapolis. An avid runner, Lucas has first-hand knowledge of the rehabilitation of running injury as a physical therapy patient himself, and has conducted research on Return to Run Protocol following Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, these experiences giving him both empathy and expertise in treating athletic injuries. In his free time, Lucas enjoys fishing, spending time with friends and family, and following UIowa sports and professional basketball.
