Scott joins the OPPT staff from sunny, Boca Raton, FL. Scott graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Florida International University (FIU). Prior to this he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida and went on to be a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University of Miami, working predominantly with the football and track& field programs. Scott has previously worked on the sports medicine staff for the Michigan State University football program and was also the Head Physical Therapist for the AAF Birmingham Iron football team. Scott is very passionate about sports physical therapy and orthopedics with an emphasis on return-to-sport programming after injury. Scott also holds his Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) and has had the luxury of working with many high school, collegiate and pro athletes in the NFL, MLB, and WTA. On his downtime, Scott loves working out, spending quality time with his wife, Nicole and taking his dog to the beach.
