Originally from Massachusetts, Katie King is an alumni of American International College in Springfield, MA where she received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. Katie has a strong passion for treating and caring for patients with neurological disorders, as well as vestibular and balance conditions. She is a Neurological Clinical Specialist and earned her Board Certification in Neurology through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Katie has an inpatient background having worked diligently at a hospital and emphasizes the importance of efficient functional movement patterns. As a clinician, she focuses on patient-centered care and emphasizes the importance of education with each of her patients and their families/caregivers while being goal oriented. Katie has a passion for teaching, which she incorporates with her patient interactions. She currently teaches Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology to the Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Nova Southeastern University in Tampa. Outside the clinic, Katie enjoys hiking, traveling, and playing beach volleyball. She is an avid dog lover.
