Originally from Massachusetts, Katie is an alumni of American International College in Springfield, MA where she received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. Katie has a strong passion for treating and caring for patients with neurological disorders, as well as vestibular and balance conditions. She is a Neurological Clinical Specialist and earned her Board Certification in Neurology through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Katie has earned certification through the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers as a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist. Katie has established partnership with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has earned the title of Partner in MS Care for both herself and the clinic where she treats. Katie has an inpatient background having worked diligently at a hospital and emphasizes the importance of efficient functional movement patterns. As a clinician, she focuses on patient-centered care and emphasizes the importance of education with each of her patients and their families/caregivers while being goal oriented. Katie has a passion for teaching, which she incorporates with each patient interaction. She currently serves as an Associate Faculty member for Rehab Essentials EnTandem DPT Program. Outside the clinic, Katie enjoys hiking and traveling. She is an avid dog lover, being the proud pet parent of a German Shepherd named Sully and a Goldendoodle named Gaspar.
