Originally from Massachusetts, Katie is an alumni of American International College in Springfield, MA where she received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. Katie works full time as an Assistant Professor at Gannon University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Ruskin and part-time treating patients in the clinic. Katie has a strong passion for treating and caring for patients with neurological disorders, as well as vestibular and balance conditions. She is a Neurological Clinical Specialist and earned her Board Certification in Neurology through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Katie has earned certification through the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers as a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist. Katie has established partnership with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has earned the title of Partner in MS Care for both herself and the clinic where she treats. Outside the clinic, Katie enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
