Ricardo is a Physical Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, specializing in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. He earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in Colombia in 2011 and moved to New York in 2014 to pursue excellence and further develop his clinical skills. He later obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College in 2021. As part of his lifelong commitment to learning, Ricardo earned the title of Sports Certified Specialist in 2025. Throughout his career, he has worked with exceptional mentors who have shaped his clinical reasoning, sharpened his hands-on skills, and strengthened his evidence-based approach. Ricardo is dedicated to helping athletes, active individuals, patients seeking to improve their overall functionality, and post-operative clients achieve their goals and return to optimal performance. Ricardo is passionate about sports and has previously participated in soccer and powerlifting. He is a movement advocate and enjoys cycling, running, lifting, and praying as part of his self-improvement activities. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, exploring new places, and discovering great coffee, food, and sunsets. In pursuit of more outdoor activities, continued personal growth, and year-round warm weather, he moved to the Sunshine State to help this community stay active and achieve their movement goals.
